Right, so Heikki Kovalainen is supposedly on fuel-adjusted pole position for the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza. But he’s not going to win, is he? No, of course not. It’s just not the sort of thing he’d do. He starts 4th. Lewis Hamilton on actual pole position, albeit with a lot less fuel than his team-mate, is my pick for the win. If not him, then Kimi Raikkonen, 3rd on the grid. Adrian Sutil starts from the front row, but something always happens to him, so he’ll probably retire. Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button start 5th and 6th, so one of them could end up on the podium. The Red Bull Racing boys are a poor 9th and 10th, so at least the it’s positive for the championship for Brawn GP. Good work from Vitantonio Liuzzi in the Force India for the first time to start 7th; less good work from Giancarlo Fisichella newly in the Ferrari, down in 14th. Post a comment
