I wrote about how the manufacturer teams are being embarrassed by their customer teams a while ago, and it’s only got worse since, especially for Ferrari. Three races in and zero points. Oh dear.

According to Felipe Massa, they have “two issues”. Well that’s okay then: it can’t be difficult to fix just two issues, can it? These are what he says they are:

“One is that we need to improve the car, we need to make the car quicker. And the second is we need to make the car reliable, because you can have the quickest car in the world but if you don’t finish the race it doesn’t matter. So I think those are the most important points we need to work on to improve the situation.”

The most important points to work on are speed and reliability, then. Actually Felipe, those are the only things to work on. Unless you’re particularly concerned about the car looking pretty.

What you’ve said, Felipe, is that Ferrari needs to work on everything. Oh dear oh dear.
