Renault boss Flavio Briatore has been widely quoted over the past few days, mainly talking about Brawn GP. Most popularly he described Jenson Button – roughly and inconsistently translated – as a good guy, but as fast as a milestone.

He’s done better this weekend though.

Talking about his driver Nelson Piquet‘s race in China:

“Jesus Christ, it was a very, very bad race. I understand if you spin once, but this was kind of a contest: the more you spin the more points you have.”

Or regarding comments made by Williams CEO Adam Parr in the FIA Court of Appeal diffuser appeal:

“Adam Parr is an idiot. You can write that: he’s an idiot. That’s simple.”

Brilliant. Just breathtakingly brilliant.

Luckily Briatore only really gets angry when he’s losing, so his victims are happy to laugh off his comments, get on with their lives, and leave him to smoulder.
